Icy Blue

What has been long awaited has finally came. A froyo place in Plaza Senayan! Located inconveniently near the bowling alley, it has one of the best froyos I've ever tasted. The texture is smooth and soft, although the neon lights is a little on the blinding side. Today, there were 5 flavours available; original, pink tutti-frutti, blueberry, peach, and lychee. I'm just going to make this short since it's late and I really should head to bed to have my usual dose of fiction. So overall, Icy Blue would be a 4 out of 5, having lost 0.5 of its' rating in its' dry mochi.

Bring It On 5

An uttermost disappointment to the Bring It On sequel, this movie is definitely overrated and not worth watching. Based on the story of a mexican girl trying to make it to Malibu, by acting like a total bitch and trying to get everyone to be like her. She keeps acting as if the others are the one who does not belong there, when she is the one who truly does not belong. She beats the crap out of Avery, the supposedly 'bitch', and makes Avery looks like an angel in front of her.

Of course, predictably, her squad wins in the end. An unfair victory is more like it though. She dresses up with bright vibrant colours that might hurt your eyes, and with big hairs. Hello? This isn't the 80s, nor Hairspray. Not to mention the bright yellow uniforms which looks like it's strangling all of the "cheerleaders". And of course, Evan, the guy, who just happened to be Avery's brother and also her lover. Talk about irony. Avery might be right on this one, though, Evan is blind.

Overall, I would give this movie a rating of 1 star out of 5, for the stunts from the Jaguars, the opposing team.

YOGURTADDICT

That's the name of the new froyo place I found out about yesterday in Sency. It's located across Sogo Foodhall (the cashier) and near the entrance/exit to Blue Lagoon. They have a comic book-styled menu (which I find very very very very very so very attracting) and so far, two flavours. Classic (that'd be plain), and strawberry. For 14, 15, and 16 August, they are giving froyos for free, (no, you didn't read that wrong) and all the customers pay for their froyos up to their choices, (some parents actually sent all their kids to buy 10 froyos, and only paid them for Rp. 5000!), and then they'll donate all the money they got to charity, which I think is nice... Don't you?

For the flavour itself, I gotta say that I can't have a clear say on that just yet. I did try it (pssh don't be ridiculous of course I tried it), but... I had a 'take away'. From what I tasted so far, the strawberry flavour is kind of blegh and the mochi is nice, chewy but not too chewy, and the flavour? Let's just say I'm gonna get back to that.

A NEW FROYO PLACE IN SENCY

I WENT TO SENCY TODAY AND FOUND A NEW FROYO PLACE ACROSS SOGO FOODHALL THAT JUST OPENED!!! AAAAAA!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT!!!!!

...i didn't try it then because the line were unbelievably long :((((((((((

i think it was called yogu-something.

it looked SO GOOD :(((((((. they had many different flavours. and the menu looked so cute...
